How it works

What Explorers do every week

Our meetings blend practical skills, teamwork challenges, and social time so every Explorer finds their place. Parents get weekly updates with kit lists and timings.

Every Thursday night with rotating themes covering navigation, first aid, leadership, and more.

Regular trips across the UK—from winter skills to summer water sports. Consent forms sent in advance.

Who we are

Leading young people through adventure

Ruislip Explorers is part of the Scout Association, delivering the Explorer Scout programme for young people aged 14–18. We're volunteer-led, open to everyone, and based at 1st/3rd Ruislip Scout Group.

Navigation, first aid, outdoor cooking, leadership—skills that matter beyond Scouts.

Weekend hikes, multi-day camps, and international trips that build confidence and resilience.
